Por ello, integramos una educaci\u00f3n de alta calidad con programas extraescolares y de verano galardonados para ofrecer nuestro modelo de Desarrollo Integral del Ni\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>Ese compromiso ha dado como resultado logros en todo el ciclo educativo (desde preescolar hasta el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o de secundaria) que superan a la mayor\u00eda de los distritos escolares p\u00fablicos y escuelas aut\u00f3nomas similares a DREAM. Con un rendimiento estudiantil acelerado y tasas de graduaci\u00f3n de la escuela secundaria y admisi\u00f3n a la universidad del 100%, DREAM ha mitigado los efectos de la p\u00e9rdida de aprendizaje causada por la COVID-19. Estos datos nos indican que tomamos la decisi\u00f3n correcta. El enfoque de DREAM est\u00e1 funcionando.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>El crecimiento de DREAM durante los pr\u00f3ximos cinco a\u00f1os estar\u00e1 orientado hacia la excelencia y la sostenibilidad, apoyando resultados a largo plazo para los j\u00f3venes y construyendo un futuro justo en el que cada ni\u00f1o pueda influir y liderar el cambio generacional, inclinando la balanza hacia la equidad.<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Pero no es suficiente. En el \u00faltimo cuarto de siglo, las escuelas ch\u00e1rter de alto rendimiento han logrado avances significativos en la reducci\u00f3n de la brecha de rendimiento acad\u00e9mico entre la educaci\u00f3n primaria y secundaria. A pesar de ello, las tasas promedio de permanencia en la universidad y de finalizaci\u00f3n de licenciaturas para los graduados de escuelas ch\u00e1rter \u2014incluidos los de DREAM\u2014 siguen siendo significativamente m\u00e1s bajas que las de sus compa\u00f1eros de familias acomodadas. Persisten grandes disparidades en los ingresos a largo plazo de estos j\u00f3venes, con un salario promedio para nuestros exalumnos a los 25 a\u00f1os inferior al salario m\u00ednimo vital de la ciudad de Nueva York. As\u00ed, aunque los estudiantes de DREAM est\u00e1n reduciendo la brecha de rendimiento acad\u00e9mico al llegar al \u00faltimo a\u00f1o de secundaria, no logran seguir el ritmo de sus compa\u00f1eros de familias m\u00e1s acomodadas despu\u00e9s de la universidad y en la edad adulta.<\/p>\n<p>El Plan Estrat\u00e9gico 2024-2028 de DREAM es nuestra hoja de ruta para desarrollar el potencial a largo plazo de los ni\u00f1os a quienes servimos y de las comunidades donde trabajamos. Implicar\u00e1 una inversi\u00f3n a\u00fan mayor en las personas y los lugares, desde la primera infancia hasta la adultez temprana, para asegurar que los logros de nuestros estudiantes en la escuela perduren al ingresar a la universidad y acceder a carreras profesionales gratificantes.
