La promoci\u00f3n de 2024 \u2014un grupo de 89 estudiantes de \u00faltimo a\u00f1o, de los cuales 971 son afroamericanos y\/o hispanos y 201 tienen necesidades especiales identificadas\u2014 ejemplifica lo que es posible cuando creemos en cada ni\u00f1o y sus sue\u00f1os e invertimos en ellos.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>La promoci\u00f3n de 2024 incluye a los dos primeros estudiantes de DCHS que se han comprometido con universidades de la Ivy League.<\/strong>: Universidad de Columbia y Universidad de Pensilvania.<\/li>\n<li><strong>$2 millones en subvenciones y becas<\/strong> Estos premios se otorgaron a estudiantes de \u00faltimo a\u00f1o del programa DREAM por su primer a\u00f1o de universidad.<\/li>\n<li>Un estudiante del programa DREAM recibi\u00f3 el premio altamente competitivo <strong>Beca QuestBridge Match<\/strong> para asistir a la Universidad de Columbia con una beca acad\u00e9mica completa.<\/li>\n<li>82% asistir\u00e1 a un <strong>universidad o colegio de cuatro a\u00f1os<\/strong>, 2% han elegido un <strong>universidad de dos a\u00f1os<\/strong>, y se espera que 16% se inscriban en un <strong>programa de desarrollo profesional<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>De aquellos que asistir\u00e1n a una universidad o colegio de cuatro a\u00f1os, <strong>33%<\/strong> se dirigen a universidades privadas, p\u00fablicas fuera del estado o a instituciones hist\u00f3ricamente negras (HBCU); <strong>38%<\/strong> a las instituciones de cuatro a\u00f1os de SUNY, incluidos los campus de alto nivel de Binghamton y Albany; y <strong>29%<\/strong> a las instituciones de cuatro a\u00f1os de CUNY, incluidas Hunter y Baruch.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Diecis\u00e9is estudiantes se han comprometido con los Programas de Oportunidades.<\/strong> <strong>(HEOP y EOP)<\/strong>, contabilizando <strong>22%<\/strong> de todos los estudiantes comprometidos.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Estudiantes que ingresan a trayectorias profesionales<\/strong> Obtendr\u00e1n certificaciones en campos tan diversos como la construcci\u00f3n, la gastronom\u00eda, la tecnolog\u00eda farmac\u00e9utica, la instalaci\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica y los programas de asistente m\u00e9dico.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nuestros excelentes resultados en la educaci\u00f3n superior se basan en nuestros valores: ante todo, nuestro trabajo busca apoyar la libertad de elecci\u00f3n y la autonom\u00eda del alumnado en todo lo que hacemos.
