College & Career Partnerships

College & Career Partnerships

Our college and career partnerships help set our students and alumni up for long-term success through career exploration, exposure, networking, professional growth, and mentorship. But we know that in the best partnerships, you get out what you put in: Racially and ethnically diverse companies are 35% more likely to outperform their peers. As a college and career partner with DREAM, your organization will help launch our students’ futures through opportunities for meaningful experience while gaining a pipeline of vetted and diverse applicants for your college or organization.

Join our growing network of colleges and corporations who believe in the power of opportunity. Contact Colleen Doran, Director of Corporate Partnerships, at cdoran@wearedream.org to learn more today.

“Despite the rising challenges faced by all school communities in 2020, DREAM remained determined to find new ways to unite and support their students, families, and staff. These efforts to go above and beyond for scholars affirm why we are so proud to work with DREAM.”

corporate partner highlights

Bank of America

Since 2006, Bank of America has supported DREAM’s critical career readiness programs through its foundation and has been a loyal sponsor of our fundraising events. This support continued even through the pandemic, with Bank of America employees participating in virtual read-alouds with our youngest scholars and by delivering PPE. Bank of America deepened their commitment by providing anchor support for DREAM's Upward Pathways job readiness program and offering paid finance internships for up to 20 DREAM youth on an annual basis.

JKR

As one of our most unique and dedicated partners, Jones Knowles Ritchie recently led our organizational rebrand. They dedicated resources and expertise—including many hours of sweat equity from their top executives—toward establishing the DREAM brand and telling our story. JKR developed the logo, color identity, and branding guidelines that we continue to use today. This pro bono support has helped to increase the reach of our organization and shape DREAM's vision for the future.

topps

We have more in common with TOPPS than just our baseball roots. Since 2010, TOPPS has partnered with DREAM to provide pivotal support for our summer programs and has become a staple partner at our events, including our community-based summer celebration, Champ Day, where every year they provide 50 volunteers. When we talk about partners being a part of the DREAM Family, this is what we mean.

The Players Alliance

Although The Players Alliance is one of our most recently cultivated partnerships, our relationship with Major League Baseball dates back to 1991. In 2020, together with Microsoft, The Players Alliance turned a DREAM classroom into a state-of-the-art technology lab for our scholars. Through our shared commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and, of course, our love of baseball, effecting real change in Black and brown communities will inextricably tie our organizations together for years to come.
