DREAM is creating a future where all children can fulfill their vision of success. To do it, we need your talent. Are you in?
Who We Are
DREAM is family.
At DREAM, we are more than students, teachers, youth workers, parents, volunteers, and staff. We are family. Because setting kids up for success takes more than a vision and determination. It takes a community of people who love and care for one another—especially when the going gets tough.
Fun is a serious value.
DREAM’s work is important and challenging. But it is also fun, and we take our fun seriously. After all, DREAM was founded as a place for kids to do what they love most: play. So we work hard and we play hard. We celebrate the big and the small. And we always find our joy, on and off the field.
We grow our own leaders.
More than 100 of our high schoolers interned as coaches, team leaders, and tutors at DREAM’s summer camps last year. From ongoing professional development opportunities, to building a pipeline of diverse talent, to a strong, intentional culture of teamwork, we’re passionate about our people.
We make dreams real.
We DREAM big. We believe bigger. Because one person’s garbage-strewn lot can be another’s field of dreams. A baseball league for 75 kids can become a network of schools for thousands. And a kindergarten class can become the next generation of changemakers in the community and the world.
“I feel a sense of purpose from the work we provide to teachers and behind-the-scenes operations that are supporting thousands of DREAM youths and families. I’m proud that DREAM is providing excellent services and education to the communities that need them most.”
- Wai Phyo, Director of Database Management
“DREAM is a place that allows us all – teachers, students, families, and staff – to reach their full potential. On my team, I am surrounded by colleagues who challenge me, laugh with me, and help make the work we do feel so meaningful every single day. I cannot imagine a stronger team than ours here at DREAM.”

Diversity, equity, and inclusion
At DREAM, diversity, equity, and inclusion are a matter of mission.
From our schools to our playing fields, DREAM is committed to building a team where each individual can bring their full identity and experience to work because representation matters—it enriches our team culture, enhances our ability to innovate, and strengthens our impact in and out of the classroom.
DREAM engages staff that represent and appreciate the diversity of our majority Black and Hispanic student body, while working to ensure that our practices are equitable, welcoming, and productive. We are dedicated to creating a world where youth, especially youth of color, have permission to dream—along with the tools and opportunities to make their dreams reality.
